My ears are shot; Why not give it a shot ?
My life changed after I lost my hearing. After casting about for the latest in technology and research regarding hearing loss, found a couple of references to gene therapy being researched to repair/restore hearing.
Decided to try to invite myself to the party. Figured a slim chance the early work would actually help me. Huge chance that it would likely help a bunch of folks down the road.
